perched above
the Design
Museum, Blueprint Café's light
and simple interior provides a
perfect setting for some of the
most spectacular views of Tower
Bridge, the City and Docklands.
The binoculars dished out at
each table add to the experience.
Long-term Head Chef, Jeremy
Lee, is renowned for his eclectic
style and fuss-free philosophy
which, one would assume, takes
influence from Europe as well as
his native Scotland.
With an appetising modern
British menu, this gem of an
eaterie offers tasty, uncomplicated
food, with friendly service – and
at a reasonable price.
Launched originally by Terence
Conran, and named after an
influential design magazine, you
can now enjoy a set three-course
menu here for around £20.
Or, plump for the a la carte
option, which includes a twist
on an old London delicacy,
Warm Smoked Eel Sandwich
with Mustard, Horseradish and
Red Onion Pickle. Delicious.
